Campo Grande(MS) – Neste domingo (22.4) acontece a 2ª etapa do Campeonato Estadual de Velocroos 2018, a prova será realizada no balneário Riacho Doce (Cachoeirão KM 424 da BR-262), distante 69 km de Campo Grande no sentido Aquidauana.
A pista montada no recinto do Balneário tem 900 metros de muita velocidade, totalmente em condições para que os pilotos possam conseguir o melhor desempenho de suas máquinas.
Para eles, a Federação de Motociclismo alerta que todos os participantes deverão estar devidamente filiados junto à Confederação Brasileira de Motociclismo e quem se filiou pelo site deve levar o comprovante no dia da prova. A expectativa é que a prova de abertura conte com aproximadamente 150 pilotos de todo o Estado.
O presidente da Federação de Motociclismo de Mato Grosso do Sul, André Azambuja, está otimista quanto ao sucesso do evento. “Acreditamos que teremos um grande espetáculo por parte dos pilotos e também contamos com a presença do público de toda a região”, afirma.
Maria Barbier é uma das competidoras do evento na categoria Batom.
De acordo com a programação, as inscrições e vistorias técnicas acontecerão hoje, das 8h às 11h. Os treinos estão liberados das 9h às 10h50. Serão disputadas oito categorias e a largada da primeira, que é a 230 cc está marcada para às 13h. Ao todo serão disputadas oito categorias VX1, VX3, VX3 importada, VX 230, VX Nacional, Batom, VX Junior e VX Mini Motos.
Maria Eduarda Barbier, 14 anos, estudante, conta que a participação feminina vem crescendo nos últimos anos, com dois títulos a nível estadual, a motociclista comenta sobre a categoria Batom. “É muito importante a participação feminina nessas modalidades, muitas meninas que vem assistir os eventos acabam se interessando pelo esporte”, explica.
A segunda etapa do Campeonato de Velocross 2018 tem o apoio do Governo do Estado, por meio da Fundação de Desporto e Lazer de Mato Grosso do Sul (Fundesporte). O evento também conta com a participação da Unidade de Esporte de Participação e Lazer (Uepla).
O balneário Riacho Doce oferece muitas atividades, aliado ao contato direto com a natureza contando com piscinas de águas naturais, quadra de vôlei de areia, campo de futebol, restaurante, lanchonete além de uma ampla área de camping. O valor da entrada no balneário é de R$ 20,00.
