Carlos Ruso, atual prefeito de Ladário, foi denunciado diversas vezes no Ministério Público Estadual (MPE) pelo ex-vereador do município, Romildo Ferreira da Silva. Desde que as denúncias foram protocoladas, no dia 16 de março, Romildo cobra providências da promotoria.
A denúncia também pede esclarecimentos sobre os gastos da secretária, que teria utilizado R$ 34 mil de recursos municipais.
Ainda de acordo com o ex-vereador, os gastos são considerados abusivos se levar em consideração que obras da administração municipal ficaram precárias por falta de manutenção. Exemplo da Escola João Batista que precisou transferir os alunos matriculados para a Escola Gabriel Vandoni de Barros, na cidade de Corumbá.
Conforme publicado no Capital do Pantanal, o ex-vereador verificou, com base no Portal da Transparência, que o município gastou cerca de R$ 600 mil em diárias no último ano.
O Capital do Pantanal ainda ressalta que o Ministério Público também deverá avaliar uma denúncia quanto a um contrato de transporte, feito em caráter emergencial pelo secretário Helder Botelho, no valor de R$ 573.864, sem licitação, para levar as crianças de Ladário até a Escola em Corumbá, apesar da prefeitura Ladarense dispor de dez ônibus escolares, o que Ruso nega, afirmando que só dispõe de sete veículos em condições de uso. Tal justificativa é repelida pelo ex-prefeito José Antônio, para quem os veículos tinham bom estado no momento da passagem da administração.
Neste caso, outro agravante é não constar no Portal da Transparência, segundo o denunciante, o nome e o CNPJ da empresa contratada.
O prefeito Ruso também deve ser chamado para dar esclarecimentos acerca da contratação de uma empresa de sonorização para atendimento a eventos, ao valor de R$ 1,5 milhão. Atualmente, a cidade promove, além do carnaval, o festival do Peixe e a festa da padroeira.
