A SEMED – Secretária Municipal de Educação e a equipe gestora da Merenda Escolar – Cozinha Central realizaram nesta quarta-feira, 4 de abril, uma linda homenagem ao Dia da Merendeira no SIMTED – Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação de Amambai.
Amambai merece a homenagem junto aos trabalhadores da área, por ser uma das poucas cidades do Estado que prepara grande parte das refeições que oferecem aos alunos da Rede Municipal de Ensino (REME).
A merenda oferecida pela Cozinha Central de forma concentrada segue os padrões nutricionais e de higiene. Todo esse trabalho exige uma estratégia logística bastante apurada, afinal são mais de 11.030 refeições servidas diariamente.
Por trás de todo esse trabalho estão as pessoas que preparam e efetivamente concretizam o fornecimento das refeições, as merendeiras, tias da cozinha e as tias da copa, como são conhecidas pelos alunos enquanto servem seus preciosos lanches.
Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, as quase anônimas, mas fundamentais merendeiras são homenageadas com um delicioso churrasco, bebida gelada e uma boa música organizado pela SEMED.
Dessa vez, o evento contou com a presença da grande maioria das servidoras do município, da equipe gestora da Cozinha Central, das nutricionistas Livia e Adeline, dos motoristas, dos vereadores Darci, Humberto Hasegawa e Geverson Vicentim e da secretária de Educação, Zita Centenaro que no ato representou também o prefeito de Amambai, o Dr. Bandeira.
